In the framework of the Tranfiere Forum, the Innova IRV Microelectronics team presented the DKULPIOT project, Design Kit Ultra Low Power Internet Of Things, which aims to generate a microelectronic design and advanced encapsulation to facilitate a platform (design kit and Hw platform) for companies in the IoT sector.
This design solves the need for versatile solutions that allow the integration in a single “System in a Package” (SiP) of different functionalities according to the demand of each company, reducing costs and development time to market.
DKULPIOT, with an expected investment of more than 120 million euros, was created to satisfy a growing global market for connected devices, among themselves and with other nodes, to capture, process, control and communicate essential information for the automated operation of industrial processes (Industry 4.0), Smart Cities, health, automotive and transportation, among other sectors.
The project is financed by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, the European Union and the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
