Presentation of the project IA System for the automatic management of green areas at Transfiere 2024
During the 2024 edition of the Transfiere Forum, the AI System project for the automatic management of green areas was presented, in which Innova IRV collaborates with Smart City Cluster, Tupl, Cordis SUITE and the University of Malaga.
This project aims to optimize the management and maintenance of green areas in Spain in order to face the serious problems they regularly encounter due to climate change, such as drought and an increase in pests and diseases.
It uses advanced sensorization, communication, IoT and artificial intelligence technologies to carry out real-time monitoring and control of agricultural areas and urban spaces, such as parks and gardens. The MAPIR UMA robot, which monitors green areas and efficiently manages water consumption, was on display.
This project is financed by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, within the framework of the AEI program, through the European Union’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
