La Opinión de Málaga held its 9th Málaga 2022 Awards gala in the Edgar Neville auditorium of the Málaga Provincial Council, where the work of Malaga’s enterprising, creative, hard-working, supportive and dedicated citizens of the province was recognised.
In this edition, where seven awards were presented in the categories of Business; Solidarity; Sports; Culture; Tourism, Innovation and an honorary award, the winners were Grupo Premo, in the Business award, as an example of entrepreneurship and innovation; Felipe Romera, in the Innovation award for his tireless work and obsession for the technological development of Malaga and an honorary award to the University of Malaga for its social responsibility in its 50 years of history.
In this edition, the NGO Bisturí Solidario was also awarded for its commitment and generosity with the most disadvantaged; the karate María Torres, the Sports award, for her spirit of sacrifice and iron will; María Peláe, Culture award, for her bravery, genius and art; and the Marenostrum festival of Fuengirola, Tourism award, for its initiative and tourist development.
