Description

As a Senior Project Manager at Innova IRV Microelectronics you have a privileged view on the larger organization goals, working in the execution of our activities, rolling out plans, setting milestones, managing risks and building mitigation plans when deviations are identified, following up progress and engaging with functional leads to maintain headcounts maps current with budget allocated.  

To keep the organization up to date on the status of your project, your reports help identify what goes well vs. what needs attention. You can focus on the bigger picture while paying attention to detail and you have the perseverance to maintain milestones on target or keep the team aware of what needs to be achieved to hold plans. 

You are oriented to solutions and do not hesitate to sit experts around the table if this helps expedite the project forward. Your proactiveness helps honor our commitments with our customers and you make the team appraise of what they expect from us and our products. 

Responsibilities 

  • End to end ownership on the projects assigned. 
  • Project status reporting, follow up and risk management, including escalations, maintaining stakeholders informed, setting management expectations. 
  • Run regular meetings with internal teams to monitor the status of the project and with external vendors or suppliers to track their deliverables. 
  • Drive technical deep dives to resolve issues with innovative approaches. 
  • Lead technical design reviews with orientation to solutions. 
  • Coordinate with internal leads collaterals required by the business and technical support teams.  
  • Key contributor to the Governance Structure, proactively identifying process and cost reduction opportunities. 
  • Maintain project on time and on budget. 

Requirements 

  • 5+ yrs of recent experience in the semiconductor industry. 
  • Project Management Certification required 
  • Familiar with RISC-V and ARM  architectures. Other micro processing technologies are a plus. 
  • Understands how the product life cycle works and is comfortable working in a team with multi diverse expertise.  
  • Technical background in at least 1 of the following wireless technologies (5G, NFC, UWB, BLE, Wi-Fi7). 
  • Attention to detail and a focus on high-quality design. 
  • Ability to work well with others and a belief that engineering is a team sport. 
  • Customer focus. 
  • Previous experience in a product development team. 
  • Previous experience in product Go-To-Market execution. 
  • Experience working with international teams. 
  • Comfortable interacting with executive level (internal & external) 
  • BS/MS degree in Telecommunications, Industrial, Computing engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • Single to multi-layer stuck up packaging structures and configurations design covering from single component to SiP integrations. 
  • Packaging design rules and efficiency differentiation ownership. 
  • Design for Manufacturing documentation development. 
  • Design verification and automation strategy assessment. 
  • Packaging electrical (signal and power integrity, high current, and voltage) and electromagnetic performance issues. 
  • EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence, Keysight) continuous improvement. 
  • RLCG, package modeling and S-parameters definition  

Minimum Requirements 

  • 5+ yrs of recent industry experience in high-performance, hardware design, IO interfaces and sensor networks. 
  • Experience with HW interfaces such as: DDR, CXL, PCIe, I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, OneWire. 
  • Know-how in communication protocols: MQTT, HTTP.

  • 5+ yrs of recent industry experience on testing validating SiP or SoC designs. 
  • Proven experience in HW verification or previous experience working on verification.

  • Experience with SystemC / C++ Embedded Cscripting languages like Bash / Per / Python. 
  • Co-design testing capabilities expertise working with design teams. 
  • Lab validation equipment know-how. 
  • BS/MS degree in Telecommunications, Industrial, Computing engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. 
  • A PhD in Computer Science is a plus. 

Preferred Requirements 

  • Experience leading a team is a plus. 
  • ASIC / FPGA digital verification is a plus. 
  • DevOps / software automation / CI/CD is a plus.
