As a Digital IC Design Engineer at Innova IRV Microelectronics, you will join our engineering team based in Málaga, working together to shape next-generation chip solutions. You will drive the development of complex chip architectures, from initial specification to implementation, focusing on power optimization, advanced packaging technologies, and integration with analog and communication subsystems. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and development of digital ICs from specification to implementation.

As a RISC-V MCU Product Architect at Innova IRV Microelectronics, you will join our engineering team based in Málaga, working together to shape next-generation chip solutions. As our technical strategist you lead the overall RISC-V MCU architecture definition ensuring it meets target market needs (IoT sensors, communication systems, industrial controllers, automotive ECUs, …) while staying cost efficient, low power and standard-compliant. If you have experience in semiconductor-based product architecture (embedded systems, SoC, MCUs, communication systems), are comfortable with industry-standard tools and methodologies, and want to contribute to innovative microelectronics development from Málaga, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate market needs into hardware specifications, defining RISC-V ISA extensions, performance targets, low power modes, target cost per chip and manufacturing process node
  • Ability to translate use cases on performance / power / cost requirements
  • In alignment with business opportunities, select core type (from available options in the market to in-house designed cores), defining memory hierarchies, peripherals specifications, interconnect architecture and security features
  • Define RISC-V toolchain and RTOS/OS support, maintain SDKs and HAL for developers and define debug and profiling support
  • Lead and drive the power, performance, area trade off definition with engineering team
  • Frame design principles for testability and manufacturing, including compliance with regulations and industry standards, while keeping an eye on RISC-V Foundation standards

  • Deep understanding of RISC-V ISA and extensions, interrupt controllers, debug modules, privilege levels with experience evaluating off-the-shelf and custom RISC-V cores
  • SoC integration experience, including memory hierarchy design and power domain modes
  • Background in low power and security techniques (e.g., clock and power gating, wake up latency minimization and secure boot, update and RoT concepts, …)
  • RISC-V toolchain practical understanding, in combination with RTOS, HAL and FW / HW co-design principles awareness
  • Pre-silicon verification strategies know-how, post silicon bring-up and power measurements techniques awareness
  • Familiarity with the different IoT market verticals and applications where the embedded devices ecosystem plays stronger
  • Skilled in semiconductor lifecycle phases, milestones and deliverables, from spec to mass production, including awareness on regulations and industrial standards
  • Architecture technical documentation definition and development, team cross functional communication, negotiation and decision making under constraints.

As a RISC-V MCU Integration and Verification Engineer at Innova IRV Microelectronics, you will join our engineering team based in Málaga, working together to shape next-generation chip solutions. This role spans from the integration of different IP blocks into an SoC up to the implementation and execution of the testing cycle required to confirm chip specifications and ensure intended scenarios are satisfied before tape-out. The role combines hands-on technical work with cross-team collaboration as you work with the rest of the engineering functional teams. If you have experience in SoC integration and / or verification, are comfortable with industry-standard tools and protocols, and want to contribute to innovative microelectronics development from Málaga, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • In-house or 3rd party IP blocks integration into top-level SoC RTL, defining and connecting bus interfaces
  • Maintain SoC constraints, memory maps, pin assignments, while applying settings to each IP block within clock / reset domain boundaries
  • RTL preparation for synthesis, delivering netlist and documentation to design team
  • Develop SoC level verification environment (UVM / SystemVerilog) and integration level test scenarios
  • Define and achieve functional / code / coverage goals while running test plans and maintaining regressions
  • Debug issues happening during testing (e.g., functional and integration) and perform time-based gate level simulations

Minimum Knowledge and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in IC integration and / or verification roles.

Product Development Team Lead

Como Líder del Equipo de Desarrollo de Producto en Innova IRV Microelectronics, te incorporarás a nuestro equipo de ingeniería con sede en Málaga, colaborando en el diseño de soluciones de chips de próxima generación. Serás responsable de dirigir al equipo de ejecución a lo largo de las diferentes fases del ciclo de desarrollo del producto, desde la especificación inicial hasta el lanzamiento, traduciendo los objetivos estratégicos en resultados concretos, asegurando la alineación con los objetivos generales del negocio. Este rol combina pensamiento estratégico, liderazgo de equipo y un profundo conocimiento del ciclo de vida del desarrollo de productos. Si tienes experiencia en desarrollo de productos basados en semiconductores (sistemas embebidos, SoC, microcontroladores, sistemas de comunicación), dominas las herramientas y metodologías estándar de la industria, y quieres contribuir al desarrollo de microelectrónica innovadora desde Málaga, te animamos a postularte.


Responsabilidades principales:

  • Comunicación con los distintos interesados, incluyendo dirección, marketing y equipo de ventas, para garantizar alineación y soporte.

  • Supervisar todo el ciclo de vida del desarrollo del producto, desde la ideación hasta el lanzamiento, asegurando calidad y entrega puntual.

  • Gestionar y asesorar al equipo de desarrollo de producto, fomentando la colaboración y asegurando flujos de trabajo eficientes.

  • Identificar y mitigar riesgos o bloqueos potenciales durante el proceso de desarrollo, garantizando lanzamientos exitosos y a tiempo.

  • Establecer y hacer seguimiento de indicadores clave de rendimiento (KPIs) para medir el éxito del producto y promover mejoras continuas.


Conocimientos y experiencia mínimos:

  • Más de 5 años de experiencia en desarrollo de productos basados en semiconductores.

  • Título de máster en Ingeniería Electrónica, Ingeniería Informática o disciplina relacionada con diseño de semiconductores.

  • Fuertes habilidades de liderazgo y gestión de equipos.

  • Conocimiento del ciclo de desarrollo de productos ASIC.

  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación e interpersonales.

  • Capacidad para priorizar y gestionar múltiples tareas o proyectos simultáneamente.

  • Competencia técnica en sistemas embebidos, microcontroladores y comunicaciones inalámbricas.


Conocimientos y experiencia deseables:

  • Doctorado en Ingeniería Electrónica, Ingeniería Informática o disciplina afín centrada en diseño de semiconductores.
